Description
Northampton born Mark Cox was a left-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler who played 75 matches for Northamptonshire between 1905 and 1919. He scored 1,808 runs at an average of 14,58 with a highest score of 78, and took 25 wickets with his bowling with a best return of 3-22. He also took 22 catches in first class cricket.
His sons Arthur Cox and Mark Cox Jr who also played for Northants, Arthur having a lengthy career.
