Description
Gawler, South Australia born right hand batsman and occasional right-arm offbreak bowler Colin Alexander made his first class debut for South Australia in 1925-26 and played 26 first class matches through to his final match against New South Wales at Sydney in March 1929. During that time in 26 first class matches he scored 1414 runs with a highest score of 133, his only century to add to 9 half centuries at an average of 34.48. He also took 3 wickets at 40.00 apiece and took 11 catches. There was some speculation he would be selected for England’s 1928-29 Tour, however he never played for his country.
