Description
East Grinstead, Sussex born Arthur Collins appeared in 53 first class matches as a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spin bowler making his debut for Sussex in 1895. He made a top score of 102, his only century, scoring 1,812 runs at an average of 25.52. With his bowling he took 36 wickets at exactly 46 apiece with a best return of 5-61, his only five wicket haul, and he took 29 catches in the first class game, playing his final match in the 1902 season.
