Description
Baythorne Hall, Halstead, Essex born Frederick Unwin was a right-handed lower order batsman who played for Essex between 1932 and 1951 and captained the County in 1939. He appeared in 53 first class matches either side of the Second World War, and in those matches he made three half centuries with a highest score of 60, scoring 1,138 runs at an average of 14.58. He also took 33 catches in the field in first class play.
